Nate Butkus is the creator and host of The Show About Science, a podcast he began when he was just 5 years old. Nate’s tiny but mighty podcast covers diverse subjects like bacteriophages, zebrafish, malaria, and more, delivering ambitious, thought-provoking content to curious minds everywhere. The Show About Science has been recommended by the New York Times and The Atlantic as a great science podcast for kids and adults. Nate has also been featured on The Ellen Show, CBS Evening News, in the kids section of the Washington Post, and in Stat News. In 2022, The Show About Science won a Signal Podcasting Award in the Science & Education category for the episode entitled The Fungi Hunt with Ellen Holste. His episode on Evolutionary Anachronisms was a finalist in the 2024 Signal Podcasting Awards.
