Cicada Cinema | S11E1

After many years of hosting pop-up showings of underrepresented movies all over town, Cicada Cinema is about to open its own theater! Josh Brewer and Derek Navardauskas share their stories, what you can expect, how you can help, and how the community has rallied behind their fundraising efforts. If you'd like to chip in towards this new independent space for film, and film lovers, you can donate to their venmo, @cicada_cinema, or paypal: donate@cicadacinema.com Support the podcast, join our Patreon for exclusive merch, perks, and content: https://www.patreon.com/nodishes Original theme song by Lew Bruno
