SU138: From Engineering to Soul Purpose: Finding Alignment Beyond Success (As Featured on Angelic Footprints Podcast)

This conversation is unlike many of the interviews you've heard me give over the past year. Rather than focusing on business frameworks, systems, or scaling strategies, Dagmar creates space for something much more personal, the journey that shaped the woman behind the business. Together, we reflect on how two professionals from highly structured careers –engineering and law –each reached a moment where achievement no longer equaled fulfillment. I share what it was like to recognize that, although my career looked successful from the outside, I had become disconnected from my authentic self. One of the themes that emerged throughout our conversation is that alignment isn't simply a spiritual idea, it becomes a practical way of making decisions.   I share how I now evaluate opportunities through what I call my Three Ps: Does it protect my peace? Is it profitable? Does it align with my purpose? We also explore why boundaries are essential for anyone stepping into greater leadership. Alignment may attract opportunities, but boundaries protect your energy so you can continue serving from a place of wholeness instead of exhaustion. Another meaningful part of our conversation centers around daily practices that help us stay connected to ourselves instead of becoming consumed by outside expectations. Rather than chasing more, we discuss slowing down, listening inward, and creating businesses that energize rather than drain us.
