Keeping Families Together with Kerry Banzet, Co-Founder of Hope for Maamas Uganda

Supporting women a world away is not a role Kerry Banzet expected to be in. After an unexpected trip to Uganda, Kerry realized that her contribution may not be orphan care. Instead, Kerry was called to serve single mothers and their children. With no experience, Kerry partnered up with her Ugandan friend Monica Mukanza and together, they started "Hope for Maamas Uganda", a 501(c)(3) organization that pays for schooling for children who cannot afford it and provides small business grants for single mothers so that families can stay together.
