BIRMINGHAM CITY [A] the verdict ...... a marked improvement and a goal to savour

Dom Ballard's strike on 85 minutes was good enough to win any game and it's execution was of the highest order. It put City in front for a second time but they were denied the three points their performance deserved by a questionable penalty which Birmingham scored in the very last minute. This was a much improved performance after City's opener against Millwall last weekend with Scott Twine playing a major part in it.
