কেনো লালনের মতো জীবনান্দরা পুরোপুরী দেশীয় হতে পারলো না? একজন গীতিকবি আরেকজন কবি। এখন গীতিকবির সাথে কবির তুলনামূলক আলোচনা করা যায় কি ভাবে? দুজন একই গোত্রের না হলেও চিন্তাবিচারে, বুঝার স্বার্থে দুজন একই গোত্রে ফেলা যায়। দুজনের চিন্তা বিচারের একটা কাঠামো দাঁড় করানো প্রয়োজন। তারা কি লিখেছে, কী ভাবে লিখেছে, লেখায় কী ভাব প্রকাশ করেছে। এখন ভাব প্রকাশের পেছনে চিন্তানকশার আকৃতি পাওয়া যায়। চিন্তানকশা কি? চিন্তানকশা হলো, কি পদ্ধতিতে চিন্তা করছে। এই পদ্ধতি কতটা নিজের, কতটা বাইরে থেকে হাওলাত করা। সাহিত্যে লেনাদেনা হয়, এই লেনাদেনায় সাহিত্য সংস্কৃতি উর্বর হয়, কিন্তু হাওলাত করা চিন্তানকশা দিয়ে সংস্কৃতি উন্নত হলেও উর্বর হয় না। কেননা, এতে নিজস্বতা থাকে না। অন্যের ছাচে চিন্তা করলে অন্যের চিন্তার সাফল্যই প্রকাশ পায়। আইফোন চীন দেশে উৎপন্ন হলেও এটা আমেরিকার ব্রান্ড, চীনের না।
