Windsor-Essex Jane’s Walk 2026!

Jane’s Walks are free citizen-led talks and walks, celebrating the legacy and ideas of urban activist and writer Jane Jacobs. I talked with Sarah Morris the Windsor-Essex event coordinator for Jane’s Walk to find out more about this wonderful event. Here in Windsor-Essex County we are really lucky to have this Festival spread out over 2 weekends and with 60 plus walks, talks and tours. Festival Dates: Essex County: April 23–26 Windsor–Tecumseh: April 30–May 3 Community Picnic: May 9 This festival is so popular, there are some events that sold out the same day registration opened up. This is a free event, but each event is limited space so it can be a small intimate time so that interaction is more personal plus some spaces are smaller.
