Story Transcript:
En: The earth crackles with autumn leaves, coloring the forest with gold and red.
Lv: Turaidas pils stāv leģendām bagāta, klusa un majestātiska.
En: The Turaidas castle stands rich with legends, quiet and majestic.
Lv: Raimonds, Inese un Dace ieiet mežā, apņēmības pilni.
En: Raimonds, Inese, and Dace enter the forest, full of determination.
En: They have heard tales of a hidden treasure that could secure the future for Raimonds's family.
Lv: "Raimond, esi uzmanīgs," čukst Dace, sajustot meža kluso pulsēšanu.
En: "Raimond, be careful," whispers Dace, sensing the silent heartbeat of the forest.
Lv: Turiādā neviens nav sarakstījis savu vēsturi bez tam pievienotam šausmu uzliesmojumiem, taču Raimondam tas neko nedod – viņam ir jāatrod dārgums savai ģimenei.
En: In Turaida no one has written their history without the addition of sudden horrors, but that means little to Raimonds—he must find the treasure for his family.
Lv: Inese tur rokās vecu karti.
En: Inese holds an old map.
Lv: "Šeit saka, ka labirints sākās netālu no dižozola.
En: "It says here that the labyrinth begins near the great oak.
Lv: Mums jāiet rietumu virzienā.
En: We must go west."
Lv: "Mazs meža strautiņš vijas pa taku, un liels dižozols kļūst redzams starp kokiem, tā zari kā tumšas rokas stiepjas debesīs.
En: A small forest stream meanders along the path, and a large great oak becomes visible among the trees, its branches stretching towards the sky like dark arms.
En: But with each step deeper into the forest, the light diminishes, making it harder to move forward.
Lv: "Varēja būt vieglāk," Inese nopūšas, viegli ieķērusi kartē.
En: "It could have been easier," sighs Inese, lightly clutching the map.
Lv: Bet klusa bubuļoņa pavada viņu ceļu, un drīz viņi pamana, ka nav vieni.
En: But a quiet murmur accompanies their journey, and soon they realize they are not alone.
Lv: "Tas ir aizsargs," brīdina Dace.
En: "It's the guardian," warns Dace.
Lv: "Leģendās teikts, ka tas sargā dārgumu no ļaunprātīgiem cilvēkiem.
En: "Legends say it protects the treasure from malicious people."
Lv: "Raimonds paātrina soli, bet drīz viņi nonāk pantā ar lieliem, stāvajiem akmeņiem, kur spīd acis.
En: Raimonds quickens his pace, but soon they end up in a clearing with large, steep stones, where eyes gleam.
Lv: Ar apsēsto viņi tiek galā nevis ar konkrētu spēku – līdz apsargs beidzot nostājās viņiem pretī.
En: Faced with the possessed, they do not deal with specific force—until the guardian finally stands before them.
Lv: Raimonda sirds dauzās.
En: Raimonds's heart races.
Lv: "Mēs atņemsim jums jūsu gudrību vai cīnīsimies," viņš sakrustoja tās lapas, ko atrada mežā, rokā turot.
En: "We will take your wisdom or fight," he crossed the leaves he found in the forest, holding them in his hand.
Lv: Daciņa pietur rokai.
En: Daciņa holds onto his arm.
Lv: "Raimond, varbūt tas nav ceļš," viņa saka skumji, saprotot, ka tieši mežs runā.
En: "Raimond, maybe this isn't the way," she says sadly, understanding that it is the forest itself speaking.
En: Raimonds looks at Daci and Inese, and his eyes meet those of the guardian with intention.
En: He abandons the past and realizes that the forest's wisdom is more valuable than gold.
Lv: Viņš nomet savas "ieročus", atlaiž dārgumu sapni.
En: He drops his "weapons," releasing the dream of treasure.
Lv: Apsargs lēni pazūd tumsā.
En: The guardian slowly fades into the darkness.
En: With understanding and respect, Raimonds says, "Some things are more beautiful as they are."
Lv: "Mežs nomierinās, un gaisma caur lapām atkal spīd.
En: The forest calms, and light once again filters through the leaves.
Lv: Svelmainās rudens vēsmas viņus sveicināja.
En: The warm autumn breezes greet them.
Lv: Lapas, kas zem kājām, atsāk čaukstēt viņu maigo gājienu atpakaļ.
En: The leaves beneath their feet resume their gentle rustling as they walk back.
En: They return to the castle's silence, having honored the teachings of their people and the wisdom of ancestors, exchanging treasure for friendship and heritage.
En: And they are convinced that these values have flown long into their midst, in the heart of their colorful autumn homeland.
