The Foxkey Chronicles: A Supernatural Western

The year is 1874. The town of Murkwood, Texas, is rumored to be a sanctuary from the current drought and growing famine. Refugees journey there in hopes of rebuilding their lives. Little do they know that the once a bustling, verdant oasis among the mountains is now nothing but barren soil and dust. Now it’s full to bursting with too many people and little to offer by way of survival. Forced to live in tent and hovel, the people are filled with desperation and fear of the unknown creatures hunting them in the veil of night. Worse yet, Murkwood is hiding a secret. A secret made from the blood of its children. For there are no children in Murkwood. Not anymore. They’ve been snatched into the night, their parents killed, never to be seen again. Whole families sacrificed to create something evil.  Standing between that brewing evil and the rest of the world are the Foxkeys; Witches born with magic power called Other. Supported by their allies, the Walkers, they are the barrier between humanity and evil. Cyrus Foxkey is the last Foxkey chosen to watch over these lands.
