The Murder of David Josiah Lawson

In this episode of Crime Bit with Danelle Hallan, the 2017 murder of 19-year-old David Josiah Lawson is examined. What starts with an off-campus party in Arcata, California quickly becomes a chaotic fight over a missing phone and DJ being fatally stabbed. The investigation focuses on conflicting witness accounts, an early arrest that did not lead to prosecution, a grand jury decision, and major problems with how the crime scene and interviews were handled. Years later, the case remains unsolved, with authorities still asking witnesses from the party to come forward. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
