After Months Of Searching, God Gave Us A Home In Switzerland | Our Miracle Story

Five months. Thirty apartment viewings. Countless hours on the road and one closed door after another. Then God gave us a home in Switzerland in a way that left our family in awe. Returning as missionaries made finding an apartment especially difficult. Yet we knew God had called us back, and we trusted that He would also provide a home.After God challenged Shamira to dream again, two promising apartments appeared. For the first time, a landlord chose us but further research revealed heavy-metal pollution beneath the property.Walking away was difficult because we had no other visible option. But after praying, we sensed God saying no. Shamira received these words: “You can take it, but there is better.”So we released it, stopped striving, and began preparing to move before we had anywhere to go. Weeks later, another apartment appeared. Around 250 people had expressed interest, yet we were invited for a private viewing. The home exceeded everything we had hoped for.Before sending our application, our youngest daughter stopped us and said, “Wait—we’re going to pray first.”Only 26 hours later, the owner offered us the apartment. We signed the contract and will move in on November 1! This experience reminded us that God’s delays are not abandonment. When He says prepare, prepare even if you see nothing.
