How to Plan Your Q4 for Your Biggest Revenue Season Yet

About this episode
We’re officially in Q4, and there is still plenty of year left to work with.Q4 has consistently been my biggest cash-flow season, but I don’t assume a strong final quarter will just happen. I look at what the business actually needs to produce, what I’m selling between now and the end of the year, and what needs to happen to support those sales. In this episode, I’m breaking down the three things I’m looking at for Q4: money, marketing, and mindset. We’ll start with the numbers so you can figure out the actual gap between the revenue already committed and what you want the business to produce. Then we’ll use that number to determine the marketing effort and runway you actually need. And finally, we’ll look at the mindset you’re bringing into these final months, especially the fear, doubt, or worst-case thinking that can influence your decisions even when the data says something different. Why You Should ListenLearn how to reverse-engineer what Q4 actually needs to produce based on your desired take-home pay, expenses, taxes, and other financial goals.Use cash-flow projections to account for current contracts, payment plans, and upcoming renewals so you can identify your real revenue gap.Figure out the marketing runway you need between now and your next enrollment period, whether you’re introducing something new, relaunching an existing offer, or opening a few client spots.Plan the messaging your buyers need to hear before you ask for the sale, instead of only planning how much content you’re going to create.Learn how I use data and mindset together, including the exercise I use to get the worst-case scenario out of my head and make room for what could actually go right. If you haven’t fully mapped out Q4 yet, you’re not too late. Give yourself an hour or two after listening to look at three things: What does Q4 actually need to produce? What needs to happen between now and the sale? And what assumptions are influencing how you’re approaching the rest of the year?
