🎙️ Roman Took a Mexican Destroyer?! And What Happened to Money in the Bank?

Wrasslin’ Wroundtable Episode 83 Roman Reigns took a Mexican Destroyer. Money in the Bank somehow stopped feeling dangerous. And Dirty Dom may have just lost more than a championship. Yeah. We've got some things to talk about. This week, Ryan Hall and Dominique LaRue dig into a Raw classic that proved sometimes the loser gets the biggest rub, ask how one of WWE's greatest gimmicks lost so much of its magic, and wonder whether Dominik Mysterio's latest loss could be the first crack in his entire faction. And seriously... ROMAN REIGNS TOOK A MEXICAN DESTROYER. 2026 is weird, y'all. • Roman Reigns vs. Penta: Sometimes the Loser Wins Roman Reigns and Penta delivered a classic on Raw—but despite taking the loss, Penta may have walked away with the biggest win of all. Ryan and Dom talk about why wrestling sometimes isn't about who gets their hand raised. Put someone in the ring with a star the size of Roman Reigns, let them push him to his limit, and suddenly the audience sees them differently. Penta looked like he belonged. Sometimes the right loss can make somebody. And also… ROMAN REIGNS TOOK A MEXICAN DESTROYER. We're still processing this. • What Happened to the Prestige of Money in the Bank? Money in the Bank used to feel dangerous. That briefcase wasn't just a prop. It was a constant threat hanging over every champion in WWE. When somebody walked onto Raw or SmackDown carrying it, you knew exactly what it meant. Somewhere along the way, though, something changed. Now the briefcase itself feels almost…empty. Ryan and Dom discuss whether WWE has chipped away at the prestige of one of the greatest concepts the company ever created—and what needs to happen for Money in the Bank to feel important again. • Dirty Dom Lost the AAA Championship. Is His Faction Next? Dominik Mysterio no longer has the AAA championship. But Ryan and Dom are looking beyond the belt. Could losing the title be the first domino in the collapse of Dom's entire faction? The gold helped give Dirty Dom power and credibility while his collection of allies continued to grow around him. Without it, does that dynamic begin to change? Is this simply the beginning of Dominik's next chapter? Or did we just see the first crack in something much bigger? All that and more on Episode 83 of Wrasslin' Wroundtable—where Roman Reigns is apparently taking Mexican Destroyers now, briefcases aren't what they used to be, and Dirty Dom might want to check whether everybody is still answering the faction group chat. 📲 Stay Connected Follow the Wroundtable… or Danhausen will curse you. 👉 Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/wrasslinwroundtable/ 👉 Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575895663428 👉 Follow Dom on TikTok (yes, like R-Truth did)https://www.tiktok.com/@whodatrue?_r=1&_t=ZT-94GIllGv5OH
