Medjugorje, Blessed Elias Hoayek, and the Call to Peace

This special episode begins with a pastoral response to the desecration of a statue of Our Lady and fire damage to the outdoor altar at Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Fr. Andre calls the faithful to prayer, fasting, forgiveness, and spiritual vigilance. The complete program then presents the life of Blessed Elias Hoayek—the patriarch who knelt before the Eucharist, served the starving during World War I, educated children, defended human dignity, helped bring Greater Lebanon to birth, and inspired the continuing service of the Mission of Hope and Mercy. -------------------- Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for Medjugorje and for the whole world. Our Lady of Lebanon, pray for Lebanon. Blessed Elias Hoayek, pray for us.
