The Quiet Part Out Loud - Lunch Time with Demons

About this episode
Season Two (Ep 34) This episode of Lunchtime with Demons opens with a heavy disclaimer before diving into deliberately taboo occult territory bindings, patron work, god-spousal rites, pregnancies with divine entities, and other-dimensional lives. Her central framework treats bindings as literal alchemy: she walks through a chemistry metaphor (atoms rearranging into water) to argue that union with a divine being changes your internal "compound" the way two elements react to form something new, and connects this to the idea that time is linear for humans but nonlinear for the divine meaning a "patron" bond can feel predestined even before a formal binding is done. She distinguishes ordinary bindings (a full chemical change) from a newer, harder-to-name pattern she's seeing across many unconnected clients this year a "layering" or "nameless/Emperor-Empress" binding that feels less like transformation and more like an entity's essence being layered onto a practitioner, which she ties to her own priesthood binding with Lucifer and his explanation of why she can't take vows to another entity. Ryan chimes in periodically to reinforce her points (the Catholic cardinal/bishop/pope progression as a metaphor for repeated "distillation," relationships with the divine as vehicles, the Matrix Oracle scene about understanding rather than making a choice). She pivots into multidimensional/past-life gnosis arguing all your lives are happening simultaneously rather than sequentially, and that your current life is the version that "wins out" while repeatedly cautioning listeners to stay grounded, use discernment, and not romanticize or rush into these practices, distinguishing her approach from traditionalist occultism and from what she sees as unqualified pop-psychology labeling of practitioners as "psychotic." She runs long (over an hour), promises a follow-up "Morbid Monday" episode on divine pregnancy and an upcoming Leviathan series, plugs her limited fall reading session "Lacrimosa" (available through Samhain, releasing September 27th on a new website), and closes reminding listeners to get flu shots and take care of their mental health.
