Purdy for MVP, Trevor Lawrence Is Back & Penn State Is a Disaster

I'm breaking down the biggest takeaways from the weekend across the NFL and college football, and there are some major questions coming out of it.Are the 49ers in a class of their own? Is Brock Purdy actually the early MVP favorite? Are the Eagles broken? Have we finally seen the Trevor Lawrence we were expecting when he entered the NFL? And are the Raiders quietly becoming a legitimate AFC contender?I'll also get into Texans' collapse, the Bengals' latest problems, the Chiefs' 4-0 start, and several teams that may not be what we thought they were. Then we head to college football, where Penn State suffered a stunning loss, Michigan got knocked off by Minnesota, Ohio State continues to make its case as the nation's best team, and Jeremiah Smith is making an absurd case for the Heisman.I'll also get into Alabama's resurgence, USC's ongoing problems, Notre Dame and Miami's playoff positioning, and one of the strangest trends we've seen emerge this season.I'll hand out this week's NFL Game Ball and CFB Helmet Sticker, then we'll close things out with the Pick Six — six of my favorite bets across the NFL and college football.
