You have Sheep in your House!

Who is shepherding the hearts of your children? We make sure they’re educated, fed, protected, encouraged, and given opportunities to grow—but there is an even greater responsibility entrusted to us: discipling them spiritually. In this episode of The Intentional Momma Podcast, we’re talking about what it means to recognize the precious “sheep” God has placed right inside your home and intentionally shepherd them toward Him. Church is a gift. Pastors are a gift. Children’s ministry and youth ministry can be incredible gifts. But none of them were designed to replace the daily spiritual influence of a mom and dad who know their children, walk beside them, and continually point them toward the voice of their Shepherd. And spiritual discipleship is so much more than making sure your kids attend church or know Bible stories. It happens in conversations in the car. In how we respond when they fail. In questions around the dinner table. In praying together when circumstances look impossible. In teaching them to recognize God's voice, trust His Word, and discover for themselves who they are in Christ. Momma, there are sheep in your house. They need more than someone to keep them safe—they need someone willing to shepherd their hearts toward Jesus. You don't have to be a theologian. You don't have to have every answer.
