Who’s Shepherding the Sheep in Your Home?

About this episode
Your family is your flock. But here’s the question: Are you intentionally shepherding them, or simply getting everyone through the day?
Between school, activities, meals, work, church, laundry, and everything else demanding our attention, it’s surprisingly easy to spend our days managing our children without actually discipling them.
In this episode of The Intentional Momma Podcast, we’re talking about the sheep God placed closest to you—the ones sitting at your breakfast table, riding in your car, leaving shoes in the hallway, and calling you Mom.
What does it actually look like to shepherd them?
It’s more than taking them to church. More than family devotions. And definitely more than trying to raise well-behaved kids.
Shepherding means knowing what is happening in their hearts. It means recognizing where they are spiritually, teaching them how to hear the voice of their true Shepherd, bringing the Word into real-life situations, correcting with purpose, and intentionally leading them toward a relationship with Jesus that becomes their own.
We cannot outsource the discipleship of the children God entrusted to us.
Pastors can help. Teachers can help. Children's and youth ministries can help. But there is a unique place of influence God has given you right inside your home.
Momma, you have sheep in your house.
The goal isn't simply to get them safely to adulthood. It's to shepherd them toward Jesus along the way.
Grab your coffee and lean in, because this episode will encourage, challenge, and refresh you.
