I Sense A Deeper Call of God

In this week's episode, teens are encouraged to spend time in the presence of God so that their hearts can be attuned to what the Lord is saying in this time and season. There is a deeper call for us to come up higher as seen in Revelation 4:1, but we may never sense that call if we do not set out time to commune the Lord in the secret place. When the Lord calls us higher, it is always to get us out of our comfort zone and show what who we are in Him and what we carry. I shared an experience how the Lord called me to give a word at church when I was only 19 years old. The funny thing was that it was on a women's Sunday when the older women were in charge of service and so for me to feel an unction to give a word during that time was a bit strange. But after praying, and consulting my pastor and other leaders, the rest was history. While not every teen will have this experience, every teen is admonished to shut in with the Lord and learn of Him. Get to know Him and let His Spirit guide you.
