Podcast Episode
Called to be a Worshipper

About this episode
In this week's episode, we looked at Worship; what it is, who is a worshipper and the kind of worship God requires of us. While all believers are called to be worshippers, not all believers are actual worshippers. This is because what we deem as worship is mere routine with no genuine devotion to God. John 4:24 gives us a brief overview of the worship God requires, one that is Spirit led and authentic. We also had the opportunity to evaluate our own lives to identify areas where we could improve and worship God from a more genuine place. This includes but is not limited to the giving of our resources for the benefit of the kingdom, treating people well outside the walls of our church, living a life of consecration to the Lord, and abstaining from fleshly lusts. Worship will always surpass the goosebump moments of singing in church. Worship is the lifestyle of a believer. It is our kingdom culture. It is glorifying God in every area of our lives. And since we are mere men, we are always challenged to come up higher, to be more like Christ. As you listen in, I pray this episode blesses you in a special way.
