Basketball Beyond Borders, Architecting Life & Persevering Through Faith | AJ McGinnis JR

AJ McGinnis Jr. joins Kensley Tolliver and Olivia Blankenship just before leaving Alabama for Newcastle, England to begin the next chapter of his professional basketball career. After a journey that has taken him from North Alabama to prep school, UNCG, Cincinnati, Lipscomb, Wichita State and now overseas, AJ reflects on what it has taken to keep believing in the dream even when the path looked nothing like he expected. The conversation goes far beyond basketball into faith, fatherhood, identity and learning who you are when the jersey is only one part of the story. AJ opens up about the seasons that tested him, the people who stayed in his corner, becoming a father and learning to trust God when the next opportunity was not guaranteed. He also shares the dreams he is already building beyond basketball. CONNECT WITH AJ MCGINNIS JR.
