Authenticity, Health & Becoming Yourself

Sandy opens up about what it means to be a doctor of chiropractic while also wanting to show up as her full, real self. She and Patricia talk about losing the filter after 40, professional expectations, swearing, faith, judgment, and the freedom that comes from finding people who allow you to be yourself. The conversation also dives into women’s health, biohacking, chiropractic care, PEMF, red light therapy, shockwave therapy, supplements, peptides, hormones, meditation, bloodwork, and why self-care is not selfish. Patricia shares her own experiences with pain, surgeries, hormones, titanium hips, meditation, and learning to advocate for her body instead of accepting every answer at face value. Together, Patricia and Sandy explore boundaries, midlife awakening, outgrowing old versions of yourself, marriage advice, parenting, social media burnout, AI, friendship, and the importance of choosing your own philosophy before the world chooses one for you. This episode is for anyone who is tired of filtering themselves, ready to take better care of their body, and learning how to live with more honesty, confidence, and freedom.
