Ep 22 Baptised by Fright - A sea story

A person’s first experience in a tough, high‑pressure, or even dangerous situation is often also referred to as baptism in a way. Life at sea is not only about a glamorous lifestyle with perks, visiting places and a friend in every port. It is about risks, hardships, being away from home for extended periods and finally succeding in completing the main goal of a maritime adventure which is getting commercial goods to a destination for the wellbeing of humanity. This episode is but a small glimpse into my personal maritime initiation.
