Who is the Creator?

About this episode
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth . . . All things were created through Him and for Him.” Colossians 1:16 (NKJV)
Among our First Nations people, much is said about the “Creator” . . . like, “We believe in God the Creator; He created Mother Earth,” etc. There is not one accepted theory, as some believe the Bible, but
others do not. To many, the Creator is just a mysterious power out there.
The Scriptures teach that He is an intelligent Person who knows more about us than we know about Him. The verse above (Colossians 1:16) is referring to Christ. Scripture also tells in the Christmas story the name that God gave to His Son when He came to earth to be our Savior. Matthew 1:21 reads, “Thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins” (KJV).
Sometimes creation is told in legends, which reveals that the truth was known somewhere in the past. Since God has given us the Scriptures and the written truth about creation, there is no need to be guessing. A song that one of our friends sings goes, in part, “There is a Higher Power, and now I know His Name.” Only in the Scriptures will you find that this Creator is a triune being—three persons in one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Regarding truths pertaining to God, I realize that foundational truths of this magnitude are a problem to those who do not have the Bible as a guide. Also, it is sometimes a self-made problem. If a person accepts the Scriptures as truth, then they must realize that they have a responsibility to God. And this many do not want to do, thereby some willfully ignore the Creator God.
Lord, I need to know for sure where I will spend eternity. I do not want to miss out.
