Day 270. Habakkuk & Zephaniah.

Habakkuk begins by questioning God about the violence and injustice around him. God answers that Babylon will be used in judgment, but Habakkuk then wrestles with how God can use an even more wicked nation; ultimately, he chooses to trust God even when circumstances remain difficult: “The righteous shall live by his faith.”Zephaniah similarly announces the coming Day of the LORD, confronting idolatry, complacency, and injustice. Yet judgment gives way to restoration: God promises to gather His people, remove their shame, dwell among them, and rejoice over them with love.
