Ndong Commits to Marquette | Marquette Golden Eagles Basketball News

Shaka Smart’s Marquette Golden Eagles just pulled off a major recruiting win with the commitment of top-144 national prospect Philipe Ndong, a 6-foot-8 stretch forward from Boston. Ndong was swayed by the team’s electric energy, strong culture, and deep trust in his potential — all built on solid relationships with Coach Smart and staff. He passed up offers from Creighton and South Florida to join Marquette, where he sees a perfect fit to grow his game and body within their system. Now alongside four-star guard Marlon Martinez, Ndong brings relentless drive and no limits — and Marquette’s sights are already set on next targets like Devin Cleveland and Antonio Pemberton.
