Everybody Wants Out

BG break down a chaotic first week of the NHL season. The Rangers sit on top of the league, the Jets haven’t lost in regulation without the holdout Connor Hellebuyck, and Evan Bouchard is off to a historic start with six goals in four games. Florida loses both Aleksander Barkov and Brad Marchand for six weeks, Macklin Celebrini is banged up, and Dylan Larkin still wants out of Detroit.Plus: the Oilers erase a 2-0 hole in Anaheim behind Draisaitl’s four-assist period, Darnell Nurse scores the OT winner for San Jose in his first goal since the trade from Edmonton, and the debut of Suits & Skates, where the guys ask whether former players actually make better GMs when non-players have won six of the last seven Cups. Then it’s GM for a Day, Hot Take or Trash Take, and tonight’s Scorer Prop. This episode is brought to you by Gross Hockey.
