Payton Jones Commits to Maryland | Maryland Terrapins Basketball News

Payton Jones, a top-50 2027 recruit and elite point guard, has committed to Maryland — and he’s bringing serious talent and swagger to College Park. Standing 6’2”, ranked 19 among PGs nationally, Jones chose Maryland over Clemson, Cincinnati, and Oklahoma State after feeling it was the perfect fit for his game and education. Known for his scoring versatility, playmaking, and defensive hustle, he’s ready to impact both ends of the floor and represent the Terps with fire. This marks Maryland’s first commitment in the 2027 class — and it’s a huge statement for the program’s future. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
