Huskers Head to Grand Island for Battle

About this episode

Nebraska hoops heads to Grand Island for the high-stakes “Battle at the BigIron” exhibition against Kansas State on Oct. 26 — their last tune-up before the season opener. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 18, starting at $20. It’s the first time Huskers basketball has played in Grand Island and a chance for fans outside Lincoln to see them before the regular season kicks off. With a heated rivalry heating up — Nebraska beat K-State last year in the Hall of Fame Classic — expect fireworks. Plus, this game is part of BigIron’s mission to bring major events to the city, following pro volleyball and wrestling.
