E.66 Fractured Fables - The Problem with Stepdads

Previously on Fractured Fables - With the Blood Mage's threat becoming increasingly personal, the party made a plan: they were going to investigate the blood magic. Before they could leave, PiPi Salva offered Ami a deal. Whatever he wanted, whatever he was offering, Ami said no. For now. So the party made their way to Silas's office. They expected questions. They did not expect to be the ones bringing the answers. Ami told Silas the truth: she was the reason Olivia was possessed by the Blood Mage. Something Silas had no idea about. And then came the second revelation: Windeer was dead. Only there was a problem – the party shouldn't have known. Because Windeer hadn't been dead for days, she had died that morning. The party had somehow learned about a death that hadn't happened yet. Or at least, hadn't happened when anyone else could possibly have known about it. Suddenly, the conversation with Silas became considerably more complicated. And with the mayor's office no longer feeling particularly welcoming, the party had one very simple goal - get out. Before Silas could have them all arrested. Because apparently, investigating blood magic wasn't enough trouble for one day.
