Tourism Development Must Deliver Greater Benefits to Communities

Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre says tourism development must ensure that communities and citizens benefit directly from the industry. Speaking at the opening of the National Exhibition for Saint Lucia’s underwater sculpture park, he emphasized the need to expand opportunities beyond traditional hotel employment and increase local participation across the tourism sector.
