Good Good vs Callaway: Do Not Touch My New Driver

Two Off The Tee··9 September 2026·49 min

About this episode

Good Good made a Callaway driver ad where Garrett shoulder-tackles his girlfriend and yells don't touch my driver. James had to go hunt for it after they took it down. He called it mean. A little sexist. He wouldn't bump Ella for a driver. Jeff watched the extra 15 seconds — some other guy touches the club, looks possessed, starts ripping balls three different ways — and still thought the whole thing was a mess. Callaway admitted they approved it. Then Jeff says they cut them. Dick's and Golf Galaxy started pulling merch. James calls it cancel culture and says he can't even talk freely on his own show. Jeff's take: they weren't winning, so everybody finally had a reason. If the deal was printing money, this gets swept. Then Harold Varner III shows up at a public track in Indiana with five buddies, asks for a sixsome, gets told no, and still groups up a few holes in. Course refunds them and kicks them off. James is with the course. Jeff's the same argument again: if you're winning, you get the sixsome. If you're not, Indiana doesn't care that you're on LIV. Also in this one: our league playoffs this week, a 2v2 that went quiet, kicking a replaced divot (they both think the rule is stupid), pants vs shorts, and why nobody yells "fore" loud enough anymore.
