The Eucharist as the Perfection of Religion - Lecture by Msgr. James Watkins - Tuesday, September 29, 2026

Our St. Irenaeus Ministry for Adult Faith Formation (SIM) launches its second year of bringing together adults who want to understand our Catholic faith more fully, experience it more deeply, and make it more relevant to our everyday lives. For their first meeting, SIM welcomed lecturer and pastor Monsignor Watkins to speak about “The Eucharist as the Perfection of Religion,” which was held in St. Ann Church on Tuesday, September 29th at 7:00pm.   Next week, SIM launches our 20-session Catholicism series that will take participants on a journey around the world and deep into the faith: With acclaimed author, speaker and theologian Bishop Robert Barron, we’ll travel to more than 50 locations throughout 15 countries.  You'll be illuminated by the spiritual and artistic treasures of this global culture, claiming more than one billion of the Earth’s people. You’ll experience the fullness of Catholicism in all its beauty, goodness, and truth.
