Keeping Dwight Powell Over Moussa Cisse Would be a Mistake

The Dallas Mavericks face one of their final roster decisions of the NBA preseason, as Dwight Powell pushes for a spot that could cost Moussa Cisse his place with the Mavs. With Kyrie Irving, Cooper Flagg, and a young Dallas Mavericks core heading into the NBA season, should the Mavs keep their franchise-legend veteran or bet on the younger, more athletic center?Nick Angstadt (@NickVanExit) & Isaac Harris (@IsaacLHarris) debate whether the Mavs should keep Dwight Powell over Moussa Cisse, after Dusty May praised Powell’s impact and reports linked the Philadelphia 76ers to Cisse. They break down what Powell means in the locker room, why Kyrie Irving and Dwight Powell are the only true veteran voices on the roster, and whether Mike Schmitz and Masai Ujiri could trade Cisse or move Caleb Martin to keep both. Plus, they cover what to watch from Marcus Sasser in his preseason debut and how he fits alongside Sergio de Larrea, Naji Marshall, and Daniel Gafford.  📸 PHOTO: Imagn Images Join the Everydayer Club (Text Line): Be a Locked On Mavs Insider to support the show and get texts from Nick & Isaac on every Mavs Rumors, News Updates, Game Previews, Q&As, & More… 📲 https://lockedonmavericks.supercast.com/    Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms… 📺 Locked On Mavericks YouTube Channel🎧 Locked On Mavericks Podcast Platforms  📲 Follow Locked On Mavs on Socials- Locked On Mavs Twitter @LockedOnMavs- Locked On Mavs Instagram LockedOnMavs - Nick Angstadt Twitter @NickVanExit- Nick Angstadt TikTok NickVanExit- Nick Angstadt Instagram @NickVanExit - Isaac Harris Twitter @IsaacLHarris- Isaac Harris Instagram @IsaacLHarris_  Locked On NBA League-Wide: Every Team, Fantasy, Draft, WNBA & More🎧 https://lockedonpodcasts.com/leagues/nba  📢 Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! | Offers from our sponsors: lockedonpodcasts.com/offers  Square Get up to $200 off Square hardware when you sign up at https://square.com/go/NBA ! #squarepod  KALSHI Today's episode is brought to you by Kalshi.
