AEW’s PAC Tribute Was EMOTIONAL—Not a Normal Dynamite Review

This was a different situation, folks. A completely different situation. In this review clip, I explain why I approached AEW Dynamite’s tribute to PAC differently from my usual weekly coverage. A non-canon tribute shouldn’t be judged only by storyline progression, big surprises, or whether it was the greatest Dynamite ever. Was it the greatest? No. But that wasn’t my takeaway. My takeaway was the emotion. The wrestlers were clearly affected, and they put everything they had into their performances. Tremendous effort under difficult circumstances—and that deserves respect. My verdict? A good, emotional show because of the sincerity and commitment behind it. Not a normal episode, and not something I wanted to turn into another promotional scoreboard.
